The Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce formerly Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce has been established in the Year 1979 in Hyderabad the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, with a view to facilitate services to all section of film industry such as Studios ,Outdoor units, Film producers ,Distributors and Exhibitors who are spread –over throughout the state and it has been recognized by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh as the sole representative body of film industry in the state.

The main aim of establishing the Film chamber is to bring all the film establishments in the state under one umbrella to have mutual co-operation among these members and to represent various problems of the film industry to the State and Central Governments
